Sanjay took an early retirement from the corporate world in March 2018, having worked for 31 years around the world with top global companies in IT, Telecom, and Services Industries, in multitude of fulfilling roles with very large top global corporations, niche mid-size global market leaders, and cutting-edge start-ups; and founded Bharat to India Connect (B2Ic) in April 2018.
Previously Sanjay was founding member and Managing Director at iQor, India (previously Jabil, previously Telmar) for a decade where he built the Indian entity of the US company in complete start-up mode and completely indigenously in every aspect, from 2 people in 2008 to India’s largest and the best ICT Hardware Aftermarket Services company with INR 400+ Crore annual revenue run-rate and employing 2,500 people (70% from rural India) in 100+ cities in 23 states of India, serving top Indian and global ICT brands.
iQor India was awarded Global Best-in-Class Quality Hardware Services company by QuEST Forum, world’s leading ICT standardization body. iQor India was also a recipient of coveted BML Munjal Award for Business Excellence through Learning and Development.
Prior to iQor, Sanjay worked in the telecommunications Industry for 17 years around the globe. Sanjay worked at Tekelec (now Oracle) as COO – India and established its India operations in 2003; and as Director, Global Business Development since 2001 at Plano, Texas at Santera, a cutting-edge start-up (acquired by Tekelec in 2003).
Sanjay worked at AT&T/Lucent since 1994 around the globe in India, Asia/Pac(Singapore), Europe (Netherlands) and the US (New Jersey), in various roles in Sales, Business Development, Business Management, Product Marketing, and Network Planning; across all major technology divisions Wireless, Optical, Access and Switching, and at Bell Labs. Sanjay is a winner of coveted Bell Labs President’s Award.
Prior to AT&T, he led Wipro’s Telecom division since 1991. Sanjay spent first four years of his career in IT industry since 1987 with leading IT companies of India, Wipro and
ORG Systems.
Sanjay earned his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Calicut in 1987.

Subhendu also took an early retirement from the corporate world in March 2018, and co-founded Bharat to India Connect (B2Ic) in April 2018.
Subhendu has a well-rounded and hands-on 30 years of experience in telecommunications and services industries.
In his last assignment, Subhendu was a founding member and Director Program Office at iQor, India (previously Jabil, previously Telmar, previously Somera) where he worked over a decade, and was part of the core management team for setting up, from scratch, the largest aftermarket services company of India, in Electronics and Telecom for Repair and Refurbishment.
As Head of Quality at iQor India, Subhendu was responsible for implementation and certification of units to meet TL 9000 global standards and in building a Global Best-in-
Class services company in India. Subhendu is a certified TL9000 auditor himself.
As Head of Projects, Subhendu was responsible for building and scaling iQor’s business infrastructure for Pan India operations in 100+ cities in 23 states in India, as well as managing the Administration of all the business units centrally.
Subhendu was also responsible for implementing iQor’s first Telecommunications Integrated Services contract globally, that comprised of all elements of iQor’s end to end services portfolio.
Prior to iQor, Subhendu worked at Nokia-Siemens in Network Project Management and was engaged in deploying and maintaining mobile networks in many states in India.
Subhendu started his career with Indian Air Force and served it for 17 years. He managed long haul Telecom Networks from infrastructure to operations and repair.
Co-Founder and Chief Organizer
Shruti is Co-Founder and Chief Organizer of Bharat to India Connect. In her role as Chief Organizer, Shruti is intrinsically involved in research, planning and resource organization
for execution of all four work streams of Bharat to India Connect. She also leads Teach What is Not Taught (TWINT) workstream.
Shruti has specific hands-on engagement in environmental issues and has been contributing in adoption of solutions for waste management and water conservation in our daily lives.
A breast cancer survivor at a young age, a Math aficionado who loves to teach children, a yogic, a practicing evangelist of acupressure and homeopathy, having a discerning eye for photography, has widely travelled globally since childhood and having lived on three continents has helped her develop a world-view, she is a great resource for B2Ic for organizing and engaging rural women and children in B2Ic initiatives.
In her previous profession Shruti was a homemaker for over two decades and has done an incredible job as a parent in rearing two good human beings with sound value system. Prior to it, Shruti started her career with leading publications and worked with India Today (1991-93) and Sunday Mail (1990-1991).
Shruti earned her MBA from Delhi Productivity Council in 1990 with specialization in Marketing. She is an alumnus of Delhi University where she earned her degree in Math Honors. Shruti is also an alumnus of Scindia Girls School, Gwalior.
